wrapped this April; now back to designing.
Serving as an ROK Army Sergeant and artillery specialist placed me directly inside high-pressure operations. When equipment fails under stress or fatigue, systems break. That experience locked in my core design philosophy: human-factored utility is never an afterthought, and the operator always comes first.
Back at Georgia Tech (BS Industrial Design '28), I direct that standard toward physical problem-solving. Between facilitating ethnographic research at Design Bloc under Professor Wayne Li and hands-on shop fabrication, I ground hardware in real human behavior before prototyping functional, lasting solutions.
